Pick a route you walk every day — to the kitchen, to your car, around the block — and pretend you’re a tourist visiting for the first time.
Look up. Actually look at buildings, trees, cracks in the pavement, the weird mailbox on the corner that’s been there forever. Your neighborhood is secretly full of details you’ve been too busy to notice. Mindful walking isn’t about shuffling slowly with your eyes closed. It’s about turning off autopilot and actually being somewhere for once.
Time required: Any walk. Zero extra minutes required.
